I completed my PhD in Mathematics under the supervision of Martin Weissman and I'm a Lecturer in the Mathematics and in the Statistics Departments at UC Santa Cruz. Before coming to UC Santa Cruz, I received a M.S. in Mathematics from University of South Florida, a M.S. in Cryptograpy and a B.S. in Math and Computer Science from University of Bucharest.

I’m currently teaching:

  • MATH 2 College Algebra: Spring 2025 - in person at UC Santa Cruz (75 students)
  • MATH 2A Differential Equations - asyncronous online at De Anza College (93 students)
